Wife, mother, nurse anesthetist — she wrote this for the woman she used to be, and made every trade-off on purpose.
She left Nigeria at 17 and started over on the night shift of a nursing home, caring for the elderly. She worked 16-hour weekend doubles, went to school all week, and — years later, already an ICU nurse — earned her doctorate with a baby on her hip, studying at 5 a.m. She carried a dream that felt impossible: a career in anesthesia and a life beyond her circumstances. Instead of talking about it, she built it.
Today, she is a DNP, CRNA, PMHNP, and an entrepreneur. But her story is about more than titles. It's about the freedom to be present for her family, live with intention, and create opportunities for others. Supported by faith, family, and a husband who carried the family through the hardest seasons, she turned an unlikely dream into reality.
